These tracks were deliberately written very simply. My approach was to make music similar to how I did it back in the late'80s with a couple of keyboards on the floor and a 4-track cassette recorder to put it together. While I did not try to emulate the technology directly, I did want the feel of such an approach; of course, tempered through another 30 years of experience.

Trained as a Mix Engineer in the late 80's in a tape-based studio making AM Radio jingles. It taught me to deliver and focus on the right result instead of messing about for days over whether 234ms or 243ms was more socially acceptable.
