Blurred Hands became the album name because in many ways the concept of this record was always blurred. Initially, I thought of each track being a putting together of things that don't belong, Zen Monks drinking alcopops, etc. Over time, tho I felt that was a bit thin and let the track ideas broaden somewhat. Still, the pieces all had some sense of dichotomy. Just today someone was deliberately hurtful in saying"yet your original music is so experimental and somewhat amateur" and that is his opinion, but maybe also he is missing a point (or three as he has no work to show at all despite his (un)righteous aggression).

Musically I wanted a lot of these to be happily melodic and mostly they are. It is a happy record despite the undercurrent of "desolation" that apparently threads through my work.

The cover picture is literally my hands. It was one of those phone camera accidents which is normally thrown away, but this time I kept it as I felt it would find its place, And it did.

Trained as a Mix Engineer in the late 80's in a tape-based studio making AM Radio jingles. It taught me to deliver and focus on the right result instead of messing about for days over whether 234ms or 243ms was more socially acceptable.
